7 week check up
jackson had his 2 month doctor's appointment today--
he got all his shots and was a real trooper

the great american rollover
what a momentous and exciting day!
not only did barack obama officially become president (go puns!!!)
jackson smiled for the first time (a non-gas related smile)...
AND....rolled over!
not once, not twice, but four times!
woo hoo!!!!! we even got it on video!
i think we've got a prodigy on our hands, people....
*excuse the inspirational mariah carey soundtrack---
we were watching the inauguration party on tv...

jackson did lots of partying with the
big kids this weekend...he hung out
at the bend brewing company, had
breakfast @ mcmenamin's, went skking
and was a regular at uncle blake's house.
he even learned how to play indian poker!

jz got to meet his legendary uncle cole slates this weekend-
luckily for jackson, cole went easy on him, since he's just
a baby and didn't throw him this trip...he might not
get off so easy next time around???

jackson goes skiing!
who says 6 weeks old is too young to start skiing?!
ha. we like to start em young around here i guess!
we took jackson cross country skiing today for
the first time. it was a gorgeous day, sunny and in
the 50's- hard to believe it's mid-january?!
in his usual form, he slept thru the whole thing-
but at least we've got the pics to show him when he grows up?!
yay! skiing is fun!

the coast is the most
we took jackson on his first road trip/vacation
out to the schmid's beach house in yachats
last week.
jackson was a total team player and
slept the entire drive there AND back.
we had stormy weather the first few
days but by the last day the sun came out the weather was perfect!!!
we topped off our trip with spectacular sunset in
newport on our last nite out at the coast.
a great 1st vacation for all of us!
