auntie sara, uncle rick and cousin kali all made it
safely to bend, in spite of the crazy winter weather. whew!

captain and nonabow have arrived in bend!
they rented a house just a couple blocks away
from ours, and will be here through the holidays!
we are so excited to have them so close.
we've been doing lots of hanging out with jackson,
a fair amount of list making and menu planning,
eating great food and have started a trivial
pursuit tournament girls vs boys....so far the girls
are WINNING!!!!!! in the few days they've been
here, nona & cap'n have even babysat twice---
once when we went on a lunch date and last
nite so we could go to amy's fancy holiday party!
it's definitely going to be a VERY white
christmas around here. can't wait!

the latest...

jz had his 2 week doctor's appointment this week
and all is going well!
he weighed 8lbs 15oz (woo hoo!)
and grew one whole inch---now 22 inches long!
yipeee! he is still addicted to his green vibrating
chair and his swing. we also broke out his outer space
mat thing this week and he's been super into
hanging out on it, kicking around and making baby noises...
very, very cute.
