we hadn't been to bend in almost a year...
crazy! we made the trip over to hang with our
long lost friends and for ben's 4th bday celebration.

we had a great time being back in bend for a few days....
the schmid's were off vacay-ing in whistler (missed you guys!!!!)
so we got to house/pet sit clyde & eppi, went on lots of walks,
hung out with our old bend friends, bbq'd
and just enjoyed being back in our old 'hood...
jackson really liked playing with all of ben's cool toys too!

farmer's market

all the time we lived in bend i never went to the
farmer's market at drake park...jackson and i met
up with auntie amy and finally got to scope it out.
it was SUCH a scorcher (96 degrees!?!) i had to drive jz's stroller
thru a sprinkler on our walk there...after a quick spin around
the market and some delicious purchases (mushrooms & blackberries
for amy, rainier cherries for me) we found a shady
spot to catch up and enjoy our icy gingerales! yum!!!

jackson loved hanging out in the schmid's back yard and
was especially intrigued by the grass...sitting in the grass,
touching the grass, trying to eat the grass...

we made a quick trip over to bend to
check on our yard & house (looking great~!)
and got to spend a little time with some of
our bend friends...we sure do miss you guys!!!

we've been getting tons of snow here the
last few days, so we had to get in a little
cross country skiing while the sun was out!!!
