we had a fun christmas eve lunch with marnie.
kali, rick and cap'n brought home some flowers and
leaves and everyone helped make a centerpiece
with marnie's help. it was so special to see the kids
with their great grandma. happy holidays!

our first stop of the weekend was
of course the fountain at the farmer's market.
jackson absolutely LOVES it and could care less
about how freezing the water is...he braves it like a big kid.

cap'n comes back

fresh from finishing his big biking tour,
cap'n came back to beaverton for some r&r,
trip planning and jackie time.

1st swim

we took jackie for his very 1st swim
at nana and capn's hotel. he was a little
worried at first, but quickly warmed up to
the idea and was loving it!

road trip

we drove out toward the coast and took cap'n on a
fun hike near elk creek. we decided to drive home
the long way, up the 101 to cannon beach.
fall is in full swing here, with lots of pretty leaves
along the drive. we are really trying to make the
most of these last sunny (dry) days while they're here...
almost time to bust out the rain boots and get
ready for our first fall in "the valley"!
