molalla buckaroo

thad scored us FREE tickets to the opening
round of the 86th annual molalla buckaroo rodeo!
this was a first for jackson and i, and we all had a great time.
stayed for the entire rodeo, ate fair food,
did some awesome people watching, and even saw the fireworks-
the highlight was of course the bull riding- yeehaw!
i think we're really starting to fit in around here!

when you can't get to the real beach...the shore
of the molalla river will do! nice and shady and
a good 10 degrees cooler than the farm.

jackson is working really hard on picking
up these little slimy pieces of banana and getting them
into his mouth---a couple more weeks of practice
and he should be able to do it!

there's been a serious heat wave going on here...
to beat the heat we headed down to the park
and spent the afternoon playing badminton, drinking
frosty beverages and having a bbq, while jackson
did some outdoor exersaucering in the shade.

7 months old!

another month older already!?
jackson is really starting to show his true colors-
we're thinking he's going to be quite a little rascal???
he's got 4 teeth now---3 on the bottom and 1 on top...
