1st day of school
Jackson started his 1st day at preschool summer camp today. we weren't sure how he would react to a new school, new friends, new everything- but he marched right in and didn't look back. his report from the first day: "i didn't like the soup".

jackie's 1st haircut
after 3 1/2 years, we decided the time had come for jackie's 1st haircut.
we enlisted auntie lizzy to do the honors...

canoe cuteness
we took skoozy the scanoe out for her maiden voyage at henry haag lake.
thad got in some fishing, jackson loved paddling and we all got to enjoy one of the first sunny days of the summer season together. so fun!
