blueberry bonanza

jackson recently discovered how to pick
blueberries off the tree/bush/shrub in our yard and
now shovels them into his mouth by
the handful whenever we dare let him go outside.
once he's eaten about 50 blueberries, we usually
have to physically remove him from the area....
he's obsessed.

yay for yachats!

we had a fun & relaxing weekend in yachats,
thanks ron and jackie!!! we walked along the
waterfront path, ate at the drift inn (our fave),
thad and i had a massive pigs tourney, and
jackson had fun rambling around on the beach.
good, summer fun!

thad found us a great little beach rental online,
so off we went to neahkahnie friday afternoon.
the house was about a 3 minute walk to the beach
and less than a mile from manzanita.
it was SUCH a nice weekend at the coast- awesome
sunny weather. we spent lots of time at the beach,
ate great food, relaxed, napped, worked on our tans,
and had the best time. summer is OFFICIALLY here!

happy 4th!!!

although we didn't have the best weather,
we still managed to have a super fun 4th of july.
there was bbq-ing, traditional pbr drinking,
festive attire, dancing, fireworks and
good times with friends.
